Genel Amacı
Awareness-raising activities are designed to reach the majority of the people living in Şırnak in order to take workers'families and strong public support as well as public, civil society and private sector institutions and organizations. Awareness raising activities are organized in two different formats as promation/information material and meetings/interviews.It is designed to provide direct and detailed information to the participants with brochures,information posters, meetings, training and similar organizations in the promation/information material. However, the billboard and the website have been designed to reach large audiences and provide information on projects and activities. It has been foreseen that the methodological and awareness-raising materials for the target groups as well as face-to-face interviews and meetings and meetings where stakeholders can express themselves as participants will increase the effectiveness and efficiency of awareness activities.

Özel Amacı

To increase Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) awareness of all relevant groups, stakeholders and workers' families on mining sector; To create an original action plan and OHS procedure that will be applied in Şırnak asphaltite mines; To increase the institutional capacity of the relevant actors in the province (target groups, NGOs, public and private organizations) on OHS studies; To increase human resources capacity of target groups and related actors (University, NGOs, public and private organizations) on OHS studies; To increase awareness and capacity on rehabilitation of polluted mines lands and develop cooperating among stakeholders.
