Proje Genel Bilgileri
The Grant Program for Improving the Quality of Vocational Education through the Establishment of Sectoral Centers of Excellence is implemented under the "Employment, Education, Social Policies" component of the Instrument for Pre-Accession, which was developed within the scope of financial cooperation between the Republic of Turkey and the European Union. In the grant program financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey, the Contracting Authority is the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, and the Operation Beneficiary is the Ministry of National Education.

Building Capacity of VET Institutions by Innovative Approaches in IT Transformation (BC2IT) project is carried out by the Turkish Informatics Foundation within the scope of the Grant Program.
Objectives of the action
- To establish a SCVCD in Istanbul
- To train teachers on Blockchain Technology (Ethereum programing language and Solidity) and Internet of Things (IoT)
- To teach conceptual understanding of technical foundations and evaluate business cases
- To teach the impact of Blockchain and the on Suppy Chain Management (SCM) Systems
- To train how IoT can improve an entrepreneur's company and its efficiency that will reduce operating costs; here is an overview of its benefits in SCM
- To train teachers on enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management applications (CRM)
- To train teachers on Cyber Security and Cloud
- To organise conference about digitalisation and digital developments
- To produce training materials and methodologies for teachers on IT and digital fields
- To increase knowledge the theory behind Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- To organise study visits and on the job training events in London (UK), Lisbon (Portugal), Treviso (Italy), Malaga (Spain) and Istanbul (Turkey)
- To create a platform with VET schools, business sector, NGOs and stakeholders
- To raise VET ambassadors to act between VET and business sector
- To organise round tables with stakeholders, business sector and VET teachers
- To exchange good practices abroad and duplicate them in Turkey
- To improve policies regarding the curriculum, examination of VET teachers and accreditation of VET institutions
