Genel Amacı
It is aimed to build a positive culture on safety in work places, to increase the capacity regarding occupational health and safety tools by using innovative methods; and to increase the awareness on issues related to occupational health and safety (“OHS”) in Denizli.

Özel Amacı
It is aimed to provide innovative training materials and places for OHS trainings required in marble sector. In order to realise this specific objective, collaboration between OHS specialists in marble sector and local actors will be obtained and by this collaborative way, awareness of employers, employees (in marble sector) and OHS specialists on OHS issues will be increased.

Beklenen Sonuçlar
(1) The existing OHS capacity of institutions and people in the Committee has been increased.
(2) OHS awareness and knowledge of people working for manufacturers in marble sector (members of DCI) have been increased through informative activities.
(3) Shareholder institutions represented in the Committee had chance to examine best practices of OHS generally during study visit made to Finland and, marble and mining sector oriented OHS practices during study visit made to Italy. During such study visits, participants had seen the OHS culture in such countries and examined all training materials and applications used in OHS trainings.
(4) OHS training materials in VR/AR format have been formed and equipments to be used in training period have been provided. In order to provide trainings for a long term, a private VR/AR training studio was equipped in Orhan Abalıoğlu Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School (“VTAHS”).
(5) 30 people including Committee members and OHS specialists have been trained for use of training materials in VR/AR format and training equipment.
(6) A pilot training with the training materials formed within the context of the project has been made in VR/AR training studio. 50 employees were trained for the period of pilot training.
(7) 150 employees working in marble & travertine sector have been completed their OHS trainings in VR/AR studio within 1 year after the project.
