69 Improving Occupational Health and Safety Practices in Marble Sector

Genel Amacı
In accordance with the statistics of Social Security Institution, a lot of accidents and injuries has been occurred in mining sector. With this project, it is aimed to contribute to the reduction of occupational accidents by creating awareness on occupational health and safety in mining sector.

Özel Amacı
Project aim is to be adopting proactive approach companies, increasing knowledge of employees and employers about occupational health and safety obligations, improving security culture, developing the capacity and technical information in Afyonkarahisar. Seminars, trainings, workshops, TV programs, technical visits and dissemination activities to be held in Afyonkarahisar. Hereby, it is aimed to increase the technical knowledge and Occupational Health and Safety awareness of the employers. At the same time, it is aimed to inform all final beneficiaries about new technological developments in occupational health and safety in mining sector.

Beklenen Sonuçlar
-Organising 12 training with 750 participants
-Preparing 2 training module about occupational health and safety and supporting occupational health and safety applications with animations.
-Organizing 3 trainings for the members of marble sector professional committee.
-Visiting A +A Düsseldorf 2021 Fair with 11 participants.
-Organising 6 seminars in Afyonkarahisar with 400 participants.
-Organising 2 international, 2 national workshops.
-Organising 2 TV program
-Within the scope of dissemination activity, 1000 invitations, 750 posters, 2000 brochures, 12 roll-up prints and 15 billboards are rented.
-500 books published
