Genel Amacı
With the standards, qualifications developed and VOC-Test centre to be established within the scope of this project, the labour force will be qualified in the waste management/collection sector, harmony between education and business will be ensured, the employment opportunities through the recognition of prior learning will increase, the quality assurance and mutual recognition of vocational qualification certificates will be ensured, the challenges caused by the disharmony between formal education and business life will be minimized. The project will also contribute to the reduction of some main problems in the sector such as the misrepresentation of qualifications by workers, working in jobs that do not fit their skills and competencies, the incompatibility between the natures of the work being done and the qualifications possessed.

Özel Amacı
1-Development of national occupational standards and national qualifications in waste management/collection sector in order to enhance labour force qualifications
2- Establishment of “Occupational Standards Development Vocational Knowledge and Skills Testing and Certification Centres” (VOC-Test Centres) in waste management/collection sector to ensure the dissemination of efficient, sustainable and reliable National Qualifications System by enabling an appropriate, transparent and quality assured testing and certification structure.

Beklenen Sonuçlar
1) Four national occupational standards and four national qualifications related to waste recycling sector will be developed
2) VOC-Test Center will be established for four qualifications.
3) Enhanced awareness on labour qualification development and awareness on the importance of waste management and recycling sector.
