Proje Genel Bilgileri
Genel Amacı
The global objective of the project is to increase the number of certified employees of sufficient quality and quantity to meet the needs of the sector and to contribute to the development of a NQS in the sector specifically and in business life in general.

Özel Amacı
The specific goals of the project: To contribute to the satisfaction of the sector’s need for qualified labour through the establishment of VOC-Test Centres authorised to issue nationally and internationally recognised certificates for the professions of Minibus Driver (Level 3), Urban Public Transport Driver (Level 3), Shuttle Driver (Level 3), Taxi Driver (Level 3), and Hazardous Goods Transporting Driver (Level 3) in the sector; To revise the occupational standards and national qualifications (4 documents in total) for the professions of Bridge Crane Operator (Level 3) and Hazardous Goods Transporting Driver (Level 3) in such a manner as to reflect professional developments in the relevant occupations on these documents; To raise the level of interest in and awareness on the national qualifications system among sectoral organisations, sectorial employees, and relevant public institutions and non-governmental organisations in the target province (Konya), the target region (Central Anatolia) and neighbouring provinces through conferences and seminars and to create a cooperative environment among institutions and organisations of relevance; and To strengthen institutional capacity by reviewing and transferring in good practices pertaining to qualifications system bodies at the national and international levels.

Beklenen Sonuçlar
Contributions will be offered to the dissemination of VOC-Test Centres and the national qualifications system with secured quality assurance in the Transportation, Logistics and Communication sector. Contributions will be provided to the improvement of efficiency in the system through the revision of national qualifications and standards in the professions involved in the sector.
The visibility of the national qualifications system will be improved throughout the country and awareness will be raised on its importance. The effectiveness of the national qualifications system will be improved through the strengthening of the institutional capacity of sectoral organisations.

Ulaşılan Sonuç ve Çıktılar
