Genel Amacı
The general objective of the project is to strengthen human capital through improvements in the quality of professional education and training, to enhance the quality of professional education with an innovative approach, and to create an environment of cooperation bringing all relevant parties together in Turkey in general and specifically in Thrace.

Özel Amacı
The specific objectives of the project are;

*to improve the qualifications and employability of learners and teachers receiving professional education at the professional competence centre to be established in the field of metal and industrial automation technologies;
*to build a bridge between education and businesses on the basis of a cooperation model bringing relevant parties together; to contribute to rendering professional education a significant alternative to plans for the future through awareness-raising on professional education in the society; and
*to support professional teachers in training more qualified candidates by strengthening the teaching capacity of professional teachers through innovative training materials.

Ulaşılan Sonuç ve Çıktılar
1-Thracian Professional Competence Centre for Metal and Industrial Automation Technologies to be established under the project allowed for the training of qualified labour to meet the needs of these industries in the region.
2-The sector-specific professional knowledge and experience of professional teachers were improved through on-the-job training and thus, their contributions to the training of qualified labour improved.
3-The cooperative model, brining all relevant organisations around the region together, strengthened the connection between education and employment and improved the preferability of professional education.
